Just Sing

I tried to sing once
But my words refused to

They ran in different directions
And I was all alone

Right in front of my beloved
Who asked me for a song

I was blank, with empty mind
Her sparkling eyes lighted my heart

She held my hand in hers
And told me everything will be fine

My mind then flooded up
With new set of words

Those weren’t mine at all
Her words became my voice

My voice and her words
That’s the song of our life
