What is light without darkness?
Now don’t picture me as a dark minded person. I love light as much as you do and follow it with my heart and soul. But you will agree with me that without darkness, light’s sole purpose fades away.
Take a look at this picture I took one night at my local park and you will understand:
The dark section of this sitting area are more prominent against the lighted section, thus making me realize that darkness is an important factor as much as light.
And I highly recommend to keep that darkness flourish in photography only 🙂
This is my entry for Frank Jansen’s Tuesday Photo Challenge – Dark
Beautifully photographed!

I like the light at the top. It silhouettes the shape nicely.

There is no real darkness on Earth, just multiple shadows which are for example created by the moon like here.

Rightly said 🙂
But shadows you see in this snap are created by the park light.
