Abandoned but not forgotten.
Back in 2015, old galvanized iron (GI) water pipes in my home were replaced up with PVC pipes. Those iron pipes serviced us for more than 30 years and they started to rust, so my Father decided that it is time for switching.
Main water tank of my home is right on the roof, a common thing in Pakistani homes, so new PVC fittings were installed up to supply water across the home from there.
This old T-type GI pipe connector supplied water from that main tank to floors down below but as PVC fittings were installed, it became useless. It wasn’t uninstalled completely from the tank because it would be a big hurdle, so it was sealed up.
Now it is just a memory of my past.
