This scene is very common in my town.
Not everyone can afford a ride of their own in Karachi. Hence they rely on public transport, which itself can easily be categorized among worst of the worst.
And yes, I have just said it!
Here is an example:
Everyday, countless travel on rooftops of buses to reach their destination. Main reasons behind this are over population and degraded transport system.
But even so, many consider themselves as VIP while traveling like this!

Yes, quite dangerous this is and they do run at high speeds too, which is more dangerous. But for those whom this is the only mood of traveling around the city, they are used to with this.

well you’ve come a long way since then … the only reason I climbed up to the roof of buses was to make sure my luggage was secure 🙂
