Love Letters From Istanbul, Turkey

A nephew traces his uncle’s lost love in Turkey, some 40 years after his uncle’s death

This sub title of an article published in yesterday’s edition of DAWN Sunday magazine grabbed my entire attention and I decided to read it out in one go, before some other regular Sunday chore takes away the chance from me.

And as I read upon, I almost felt like going through an emotional roller coaster ride, experiencing sharp turns and steep slopes of something I truly can’t explain in words.

All I can do is to share the link with you of this remarkable true story. Click on the link below to read it:

What an enthralling read … she certainly had a strong connection to that family!

Brought back lovely memories of Istanbul, my most favourite city in the world and Konya, thank you 🙂

I glued myself on couch to read that story in one go. A strong proof about first love’s massive power.
Good to know that you have visited that lovely city 🙂
