B&W Photo Challenge – Farm Objects

Few things stay around for long!

With advancement in every aspect of human life, the replacment of old by new is quite a norm these days. What was handy yesterday isn’t so common today.

But there are couple of things that staying around, despite the modern advancement in their respective field.

Like objects we can spot on a farm. Mostly located far away from urbanized mess of cities, these small towns provide a nice glimpse towards life’s simplicity.

Here are my shots for Cee Neuner’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Things Found on a Farm:

A hand pump is a prominent fixture of Pakistani farms.

A reservoir like this store up water for agricultural fields. Locals love to take a dip into it during hot days as well.

And of course, heavy machinery are needed to perform all the heavy tasks in and out of the field. (That little girl in this snap is my niece with her father).
