Lens-Artists Challenge – Extra In Ordinary

There’s something special in everything!

Regardless of size, nature or any other property associated with it, a close look towards everyday objects can reveal something else.

Something we may haven’t seen or thought about earlier.

I like to look at things from other angles because it reveals so much about them.

For example, I spotted 4 different shades of chilies in the bag of groceries one day, so I arranged them in an order to see the color transition perfectly.

Or spotting stuck up dust molds on a cleaning brush shows me that despite being so tiny, they can be very much lethal for many. (click on the image to see it in full resolution over my Flickr page)

My evening cup of tea at terrace. Yes, it’s a small cup and sometimes, I prefer my tea in it.

A bath towel is a common household item but in case you have a one with multiple shades, do give it a closer look.

Good advice by my heart for not selecting the zoom-in snap of that dust brush 🙂

Hi, Hammad. Very true. These everyday objects sometimes have “hidden” aspects to them if we look closely enough. I especially like your cup of tea with the view beyond it. It tells a story of a time and place. Glad you joined us!

Thank you so much for liking my snaps, Patti. Though that terrace section in my home isn’t much spacious but it refreshes my mind when I sit there with my family for an evening cup of tea as we chat and look out at the world.
