Weekend Sky #05 – Nov 7th

What a hectic week it was!

The constant pouring-in of my workplace related assignments on daily basis this week, along with going through some totally unexpected and bizarre family related situation, which certainly caught my whole family by the utmost surprise.

And not to mention, the nail-biting race towards a certain house in white color on the other side of the planet. And of course, back to the lockdown.

Going through so much this week is reminding me about an afternoon of this past summer, when monsoon clouds blanketed over Karachi in the most unusual way possible.

I was expecting some dark clouds to appear that afternoon because of ongoing monsoon season but upon seeing this over the sky totally mesmerized me in the most amazing way possible.

As the another weekend is about to being, I’m truly honored by the sky photos shared by these wonderful fellow bloggers for the episode #04 of Weekend Sky. Do check them out:

      Oh snow!
It is almost upon us, not at my end thourgh as weather is still dry here with grey sky. I’m longing for blue skies these days. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing sky photo 🙂

How often do they miss? The monsoons?
We have a sort of nothing climate where anything could happen at no specific time.
During the last huge downpour we were on level one water restrictions which was a great laugh, this place pops in and out of drought just as it likes or rains for a week until the grass is yellow in the garden.
It is supposed to be spring but doesn’t know so, still using the reverse cycle on heating not cooling. Early morning from this fool in Australia who better get to bed.
I like this little endeavour, can’t wait for the weekend to shoot skyward with my phone again.

It is more if the Monsoons hit the north but fails to come down south as heavy and consistent rain over Summer as happened over the past three years giving drought conditions with little or no rain

Not knowing as much about your climate. I now understand. Yes quite often we get heavy rain on the coast which doesn’t reach the catchment areas that is why we were level one drought conditions because the dam was less than half full.

Yes, indeed. The monsoon in my town this year was a complete surprise and it transformed the summer completely. I also hope for some nice monsoon showers at your side this year. Thank you very much for liking my sky photo, Brian 🙂
