Yes you did. There is a formula but because it has a lot of pi in it, it never yields a rational answer to the question.
X*x = pi R*r it’s the square root for the side that doesn’t compute. Or 2pi R = x*x

O I got the second one wro g should read 2pi R =4x.
The two, when solved simultaneously, with a particular square in mind will yield x= (pi R*r)1/2
If x is 2, 4 = pi R*r 4/pi =R*r
R = the sq. root of (4/pi).
