Just when few sense-less tweets of a certain president make you feel uncomfortable and put doubts in your mind about the future of humanity, finding about an act of kindness from unknown corner of the world restores your faith in mankind.
Many thanks to JoAnna for sharing this story about Muslim volunteers who help a Christian pastor this Christmas Eve.
Our world is full of such kindness, not just with nonsense of a high ranking individual.
Salem United Church of Christ normally provides meals and shelter every Sunday night for homeless women and children. But since Christmas eve was on a Sunday, they didn’t know how they’d be able to attend Christmas Eve church and meet their usual rotation in the BEDS plus homeless program. When the pastor shared this dilemma with an interfaith association, Karen Danielson, of the Bridgeview Mosque Foundation offered the services of Muslim volunteers.

Despite what is going on in the world today and what the “chosen one” is signing upon everyday, people of the world are still what matters the most. Because you, me, our families and our friends, we are the world. We shape the very world we live in through mutual understanding and cooperation.
Respect for others, regardless of their age, is fading fast from our world.
From mid of March I think, I’m sharing floral pictures on my blog. These snaps are taken by some really great photographers, who are so kind to share their work with rest of the world.
Today, I’m sharing many of those floral snaps together in this post because my heart is deeply sad. I’m sad because of what happened in Lahore yesterday. Pakistan’s second largest and definitely the most historic one, was rocked up on Easter evening, when a bomb blast took place in a park.
Our world is occupied by billions of humans. But honestly speaking there is no humanity. It is really hard to find these days. Apparently, a body filled up with humanity is likely to be called as human but this definition has expired.
