The glitzing blockbusters of the past!
Few years ago, it was hard to imagine that a foreigner would dare to even step inside Pakistan, all because of violence and terrorism in the my beloved country. That era was definitely a dark one in our history and wiping it off wasn’t so easy.
A friend of mine, who lives in Islamabad, has made a habit of enjoying a meal once every Ramadan in Kartarpura, a food street of Rawalpindi.
Dating back to the pre-partition era of 1940s, this place is known for its exotic local, aka desi, delicacies and varieties.
For me, local is all about having a great family time. And a great family time can’t be complete without some tasty meal on the table.
If you are inviting a large number of people in your home for dinner, you need something big!
